The proposed structure for Master’s Degree level includes standard programs where the units, syllabus and entry criteria are structured in accordance to highest academic standards that meets the European and specifically Europe requirements, and identified in accordance to market demand and the targeted audience learning behaviors.

Master’s in Business Administration program (MBA) program has been created to develop and reward those learners who are looking to or already have chosen a high managerial career level in a business-related sector.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) Structure

Master in Business Administration program (MBA) program has a structure of two standard programs and nine main majors:

Standard Program live and self-study

Objectives:

Learners studying Master’s in Business Administration, will be expected to develop the following skills during the programs of study:

  1. Maximum flexibility with a number of relevant business management areas and pathways reflecting a variety of learner’s needs.
  1. Opportunities for learners to develop a breadth of knowledge and understanding of subject matter related to strategic management topics and issues.
  1. Development of underpinning skills, personal qualities and behaviours/attitudes essential for successful performance in study and working life.

Specifications and Study Duration:

The Master’s Degree requires learners to complete 8 units equivalent to 48 credit hours and an option to choose whether to deliver a Dissertation equivalent to 12 credit hours, so the total credit hours of the program is equivalent to 60 credit hours.
The Study Duration of the standard program is 12 calendar months.

The Study Duration of each major will be one semester.

Entry Requirements

This level is designed for learners who are typically aged 21 years and above.
IFTC’s policy regarding access to our qualifications is that:

  • They should be available to everyone who is capable of reaching the required standards.
  • They should be free from any barriers that restrict access and progression.
  • There should be equal opportunities for all those wishing to access the qualifications.

For learners who have recently been in education or training, the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:

  • Completed final year of a Bachelor Degree.
  • Equivalent international qualifications.
  • Two years of professional experience.

For those for whom English is not their first language, we recommend the following standards of proficiency in English language skills or an approved equivalent for these qualifications:

  • IELTS 5.5
  • Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B2
  • Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or above
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic 42-49 – OR –
  • At least reach level A2 at https://www.efset.org/ef-set-50

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

There will be occasions where learners wish to claim recognition of prior learning that has not been formally assessed and accredited. IFTC will conduct interviews with potential learners for RPL.

WES MBA Structure

Leaners who will require their certificate to be approved by WES, learner will have to Study additional two semesters so the total duration of the study will be two academic years of net which is equivalent to a total of 18 calendar months including semester breaks.

Majors Structure

Each Major will require a study of minimum two units related to the major, each unit will be equivalent to 6 ECTS, and each major will require an additional semester of study which is equivalent to 3 Calendar Months.
