Level 5 Extended
Diploma in Computing

Introduction

The Level 5 Extended Diploma in Computing (Software Engineer) (120-credit) builds upon the foundational Computing Diploma. Moreover, it offers learners pathway options designed for role-based career development, providing a blended learning approach. In addition, the core computer management units set a solid context for studying various optional technical units.

In particular, Unit 17’s synoptic project serves as the qualification’s final project, wherein learners synthesize their knowledge from all units studied. Notably, this is a core qualification available to both current and prospective ATHE centres.
